Telegraph & Argus Schools Awards 2017

Thursday 9th March saw the annual T & A Schools Awards, a very much respected celebration of excellence, innovation, inspiration and endeavour in education in Bradford.

Once again, Carlton Bolling was delighted to be nominated in two categories; School Improvement and Secondary Teacher of the Year.  Whilst being extremely proud of coming Runners Up for School Improvement, the highlight of the evening was PE Teacher Zaheer Jaffary winning the Secondary Teacher of the Year Award – even sweeter as Hafiz Rahman from Carlton Bolling won this award last year!

Mr Jaffary has had incredible success with the school’s girls’ cricket team who have won a host of awards, both local and national, and numerous titles in the past two years.  The dedication of all the girls, driven by Mr Jaffary, has ensured they have stood out not just in Bradford, but all over the UK.

We would like to congratulate Mr Jaffary on yet another outstanding achievement and thanks to Craven College for sponsoring and presenting the award at the Telegraph & Argus for recognising the excellent education going on in Bradford.
